The assessment system of Nalanda Shikshan Sansthan is based on Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). Scholastic subjects are assessed using two modes: Formative Assessment (FA) and Summative Assessment (SA). Formative Assessment comprises of Class Tests, Homework, Quizzes, Projects, and Assignments as directed throughout the year. Summative Assessment measures how much a student has learnt from the class through an examination/test conducted at the end of a term. Nalanda Shikshan Sansthan’s academic year is divided into two terms. Each term will have two FAs and one SAs. The weightage allotted to each term and assessment is as follows:
In affiliation with UBSE, the school teachers from Nursery to Intermediate (Specialised in Arts) with promising 100% productivity in board exams. As prescribed by Uttarakhand State Education Department and School Education Council, Ram Nagar, The school trails UBSE Board strictly adhering to NCERT guidelines. Currently, XI and XII supports Arts Stream only, covering Hindi, English, Political Science, Economics, History, Sociology and Sanskrit.
Every month, the School Management Committee meetings are held to discuss children's education, share school activities with parents, and delve into detailed conversations about the social, economic, physical, and educational aspects of the parents' involvement in the school.
Yoga sessions are held every Wednesday and Saturday at the school, incorporating practices such as pranayama, various yoga postures (asanas), and meditation. All students eagerly participate in these sessions with enthusiasm.
